1) On a scale of 1 to 10, how was your MARCH?
8.
2) What did you do last weekend OR what are your plans for this weekend?
On Saturday we had rehearsal for our church production called "The Thorn". On Sunday the kids had open gym at the community center. Before lunch I ran for three miles. Then, we played all these games. I was really tired out.
3) How is the extended family?
Good as far as I can tell.
4) How is job?
I decided to apply for the job that deals with all the point-of-sale data for what gets sold at Walmart.
5) How is health?
I feel better than I did two weeks ago. I think it must have been a mild-grade of the flu. I had all those muscle aches.
6) Did you go anywhere cool?
James, a friend of his and I went to the park and played baseball that first warm day we had a few weeks ago. It was kind of crazy though, because the field was completely muddy. Both boys were stained from head to toe in mud!
7) What made you frustrated?
Trying to get my Roman centurion costume on!
8) What made you happy?
Watching James fend for himself during one of our "The Thorn" rehearsals. Sheri and Madelyn could not be there, so James had to get the baby lamb that they carry in the marketplace scene. He got the lamb and carried it around all on his own! He was very proud of himself.
9) Anything surprising?
That they wanted me to be a Roman centurion in "The Thorn". I don't think I would have been a very formidable opponent in battle!
10) Movies/TV shows you watched?
American Idol.
11) Currently reading?
Tuning Oracle (database) Performance, Un-Christian, Book of Second Chronicles in the Bible, and a book on NCAA basketball's Final Four.
12) Something you made:
Chai Tea.
13) Do anything cool?
I learned how to "fly an angel" in our "The Thorn" production. I am on a team of three guys that pull the ropes that make her go out into the audience.
14) Anything bad happen?
Not really anything bad. The teams I picked to win the NCAA basketball tournament lost out early enough that I have no chance at winning that pool.
15) Any cool people you've met/reconnected with?
16) Any big purchases? Nope.
17) Something that inspired you....
As a centurion in "The Thorn", I see first hand Jesus being nailed to the cross and the look of agony on his face. It truly inspires me to see how much he was suffering, thinking of us, when he so easily could have avoided it all.
18) What are you looking forward to in the month of April?
Watching the Final Four in basketball. We drew teams in the a pool, and I got Connecticut. So, I have a chance to win that pool. I am also looking forward to doing all of "The Thorn" performances.
Recitals for our spring performance, "The Thorn".
Interviewing for the open database admin position I applied for.
19) Not looking forward to?
Peformance review time at work is coming around. We have to complete feedback forms on our fellow team members.
20) Complete the phrase: In March I started running outside again. I am going to do my company's 5K race in May, but I don't intend to train too much for it.
