1) On a scale of 1 to 10, how was your JUNE? 9
2) What did you do last weekend OR what are your plans for this weekend? Last weekend I watched Madelyn's softball team play in it's season-ending tournament. This weekend, I don't really know what I'll do. Probably will go to Sheri's parents' pool for a swim.
3) How is the extended family?
4) How is job? Very good. I got a nice performance review. Good rating. I received a very good yearly bonus based on the rating.
5) How is health? Good.
6) Did you go anywhere cool? Lake Minnetonka and Minnehaha Creek on our annual kayaking trip.
7) What made you frustrated? Last week we ordered a new laptop computer through Costco. We haven't gotten it yet. It did say we would have to wait up to three weeks on the website. But come on. Three weeks?
8) What made you happy? Coaching James' baseball team to two victories in a row this last week. Getting the news that Madelyn tried out for an accelerated tap dance group and made it!
9) Anything surprising? The undefeated baseball team in our league lost a game (to another very good team). We will have to play this team if we win our first playoff game.
10) Movies/TV shows you watched? USA in the world cup. It was fun to see them score that goal live against Algeria. Pretty disappointing watching them lose to Ghana.
11) Currently reading? The book of Ephesians in the Bible.
12) Something you made: Banana Bread. Strawberry smoothies from the strawberries the kids picked with Grandpa.
13) Do anything cool? Went kayaking with Jonny and Nathan the entire length of Minnehaha Creek.
14) Anything bad happen? The old laptop died. I cannot even get to the command prompt to do any system restore stuff. We will need to bring it in to some recovery place, to get the latest files off the hard drive. Most everything was backed up.
15) Any cool people you've met/reconnected with? I decided to accept a Facebook friend request from a friend from elementary school. I haven't seen him in quite a few years, and I have no plans on seeing him again, so I don't know why I accepted the request!
16) Any big purchases? Dell laptop computer.
17) Something that inspired you:
18) What are you looking forward to in the month of JULY? Making baseball cards out of the players on my team and seeing their reactions to the cards. Also, family camp later this month. No cooking. No cleaning. Last, getting the football season off and running. We have a few big decisions to make about the teams.
19) Not looking forward to?
20) Complete the phrase: "In JUNE ... I watched a lot of baseball and softball games."
