1) On a scale of 1 to 10, how was your OCTOBER? 8
2) What did you do last weekend OR what are your plans for this weekend? James and I are going "Cosmic Bowling" with our YMCA Voyagers program. I'm sure Madelyn will find something fun to do with Sheri.
3) How is the extended family? Just learned my sister-in-law, Lisa, might need another surgery for reconstruction. From her husband, "This would be done to correct some "encapsulation" that is occurring. Encapsulation is when the body creates internal scar tissue in a way that causes pain."
4) How is job? Good. We compressed a bunch of really big database tables. Will save lots of $ in storage space. All those managerial kudos emails went floating around.
5) How is health? OK. I keep having a headache. Might be another pending sinus infection.
6) Did you go anywhere cool? The football field, it was literally cool. Chilly, but worth it to watch them play.
7) What made you frustrated? Our dog still is not completely potty-trained. Maybe that will happen some day. It would be nice to stop having to step over gates to get into the living room.
8) What made you happy? Seeing sunshine.
9) Anything surprising?
10) Movies/TV shows you watched? World Series; Vikings football.
11) Currently reading? A book about the Revolutionary War.
12) Something you made: I want to make some apple pie, but I have not gotten around to it. I have the apples, the crust, and all the ingredients.
13) Do anything cool? I've been playing some pick-up Ultimate frisbee games at the local park. Went to Caribou with just Madelyn after church yesterday.
14) Anything bad happen? James missed trick-or-treating, because he did not feel well.
15) Any cool people you've met/reconnected with? I signed up for the Facebook thing. I don't really plan on trying to reconnect with anyone, just the people I ordinarily see and talk to.
16) Any big purchases? We bought a nice couch. What will be the next big purchase? The matching love seat.
17) Something that inspired you.... Recalling how Jesus suffered for us on the cross. He was taunted and did not give in to the temptation to lash back at them.
18) What are you looking forward to in the month of NOVEMBER? Getting all our football equipment back from everyone and closing the season out.
19) Not looking forward to? Reorganizing my garage, so I can get the snow blower out.
20) Complete the phrase: "In OCTOBER, I sat out in the cold and rain to watch a bunch of 8 year olds play football.....".
