Cosmic Bowling

James and I went bowling yesterday as part of our community's Dads and kids program, YMCA Voyagers.  The kids got prizes for getting the closest score to their dad's age in the 5th frame, being the first to get a spare, having the lowest score in the 3rd frame, etc.  They had a lot of fun.

In the first game I got two strikes in a row.  The kids kept telling me to get a prize, because the first person to get a strike got a prize.  I just smiled and declined.  So, then they asked if I would get a prize for them!  I missed the turkey by a couple pins.  Then later on in the same game I got another two strikes in a row.  Missed that turkey too. All in all a good time was had.  I needed some silence afterwards with all the people and loud music they were playing!
